Castle Rock—Lenora (Tarbet) Mundis, 94, formerly of Winterstown, and most recently of Castle Rock, Colorado, died Friday, November 20, 2009 at Brookside Inn, Castle Rock. She was the wife of the late Marlin M. Mundis. A graveside tribute will be 11 a.m., Friday, November 27, 2009 at Susquehanna Memorial Gardens, 250 Chestnut Hill Rd, York, with the Rev. Sarah Rentzel-Jones, officiating. Family and friends that will be attending are asked to meet at the main entrance at 10:45 a.m. Life Tributes by Olewiler and Heffner Funeral Chapel and Crematory, Inc, 35 Gotham Place, Red Lion, is in charge of arrangements. Born in North Hopewell Township, she was a daughter of the late John and Clara May (Gibbs) Tarbet. Mrs. Mundis had been employed with the former Red Lion Cabinet Company, Stewartstown Furniture Company and retired from the Burg Corporation in Red Lion. A member of St. Paul's Mount Pleasant Lutheran Church-Rinley for over 85 years, she was also a member of the Golden Agers of Dallastown, Stewartstown Senior Center and most recently, an active member of the Castle Rock Senior Center in Colorado. Mrs. Mundis is survived by her daughter, Judy Ann Mundis Stephen and her husband Donald of Castle Rock, CO, two grandchildren, Monte and Brian Mundis and their families of Red Lion, three great grandchildren, Dustin, Brandon and Tiffany Mundis. In addition to her husband, Mrs. Mundis was also preceded in death by her son, Eugene Mundis, 2 brothers, and 6 sisters. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Sol Amor Hospice, 7950 E. Prentice Ave, Suite 101, Greenwood Village, CO 80111.
