MT WOLF- Lee “Skip” (Nagle) Butcher, 71, of East Manchester Township, passed away, Sunday, February 7, 2016 at her residence. She was the wife of the late Thomas H. Butcher, I. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, February 12, 2016 at Otterbein United Methodist Church, 3241 N. George Street in Emigsville, with a visitation from 10-11 a.m. Her pastor, The Reverend Richard L. Bowers will be officiating at the service. Burial will be in Mount Rose Cemetery in York at 1:30p.m. Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Rd. in York is in charge of the arrangements. Mrs. Butcher was born in York on February 14, 1944, the daughter of Kenneth and Mary (Zeigler) Nagle. She retired from Standard Register in York and worked part time at North Eastern Senior Center. Mrs. Butcher was a member of Otterbein United Methodist Church in Emigsville and the United Methodist Women. She also volunteered for both, Meals on Wheels and North Eastern Food Bank. Mrs. Butcher leaves two daughters, Kenna J. Schaller of York and her husband Chuck, and Amy L. Harrell and her husband Scott of Tennessee; a step daughter, Susan B. Trout and her husband Russell of York, and step son, Thomas Henry Butcher, II and his wife Sharon of York; and four grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a grandson, Justin Haines. Memorial contributions may be made to Otterbein United Methodist Church, 3241 N. George Street, Emigsville, PA 17318.
