Lee Eugene 'Gene' Jones

DOVER- Lee E. “Gene” Jones, 83, died on Tuesday, May 29, 2012 at Memorial Hospital. He was the companion of Ruby Lingg. Services are private at the convenience of the family. Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Rd., York, is in charge of arrangements. Mr. Jones was born on November 14, 1928 in Chambersburg. He served our country for nine years in the U.S. Air Force during WWII. Lee was a member of Shiloh American Legion Post 7, East Berlin VFW Post 8896 and the New Oxford Athletic Club.
