Lawrence J. Zeske, Sr.

KINGSTON-Lawrence J. "Larry" Zeske, Sr., 64, of Kingston, passed away Wednesday morning at home. Born in Nanticoke on September 14, 1944, he was a son of the late Con and Anna (Lonko) Zeske. He was currently employed as a truck driver for Pilot Transport, Plains and previously, over the years, he worked for various trucking companies including InterMetro. He enjoyed spending time woodworking and entertaining friends in his garage. He was preceded in death by his son, Kevin L. Zeske. Larry is survived by his wife of 25 years, "Flo" (Zerfoss) Zeske; sons, Steven L. Zeske and his wife Melissa, Larksville; William L. "Billy" Bruch and his wife Linda, Kingston; Lawrence J. "Larry" Zeske, Jr. and his wife Susan, Hanover Twp.; Shawn Zeske, Ashley; and 3 grandchildren; sister, Janice and her husband James Roushey, Wapwallopen; and several nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held Saturday at 11:00 AM at Kniffen O'Malley Funeral Home, Inc., 465 South Main Street, Wilkes-Barre, with Father Joseph Elston officiating. Friends may call Friday from 4-7 PM and Saturday from 10AM till the time of the service. Memorial contributions may be made to the SPCA of Luzerne Co.
