Lawrence J. Dilliard

POTTSVILLE - Lawrence “Larry” J. Dilliard, 61, of Morea, died Wednesday at the Geisinger Medical Center, Danville. Born in Catasauqua on February 25 1951, he was the son of the late William and Constance Dilliard. He was a veteran of the Marine Corps, serving in the Vietnam War. He was a Sergeant. He received the Rifle Sharp Shooter metal, the National Defense Service metal, the Vietnam Service metal, the Meritorous Mast, and the Good Conduct medal. On September 19, 2007 he married Kathy L. Seebald, who survives. Until retiring he was employed by Baseline as a truck driver. Larry loved to fish and he loved his children and grandchildren dearly. Surviving in addition to his wife are: three daughters, Melanie Howard, Lori Rowe and Lee Ann Garton; ten grandchildren; three sisters; nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be private, held at the convenience of the family. The Schlitzer Allen Pugh Funeral Home, Inc., 6th & W. Market St., Pottsville is handling the arrangements.
