Lawrence E. Davidson

POTTSVILLE - Lawrence E. Davidson, 77, of Pottsville, died Friday at the Good Samaritan Regional Medical Center. Born in Pottsville on May 29, 1930, he was the son of the late Leroy and Margaret R. Miller Davidson. He married the former Margaret H. Yatsko, who survives. Until retiring he was employed by the Pottsville Area School District. He was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church, Pottsville. He was also a member of the Reading Hose Co., Reading and a life member of the West End Hose Co., Pottsville. Surviving in addition to his wife Margaret of 45 years is a son, Thomas L. "Smokey" Davidson. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday morning at 10 AM from the Schlitzer Allen Pugh Funeral Home, Inc. 6th & W. Market St., Pottsville. The Reverend Liddy Bileck will officiate. Family and friends may call a the funeral home Tuesday morning from 9:30 AM until time of service. Interment will be in Schuylkill Memorial Park, Schuylkill Haven. The family prefers no flowers, and in lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the Trinity Lutheran Church, 3rd & Arch St., Pottsville, PA 17901.
