TREMONT - Laurin W. Edmonds, 76, of Pottsville, formerly of Teaberry Hill, went peacefully to be with the Lord on Thursday. Born on June 10 1930, he was the son of the the late Thomas and Emma Stonelake Edmonds. Until retiring, he was employed by Western Electric. He was a veteran of the Air Force. He was a member of the Grace Evangelical Free Church. Surviving Laurin are: his wife of 55 years, the former Helen Rhody, Pottsville; three daughters, Ellen Scharadin, Linda Cerulla and Gail Matto, all of Pottsville; six grandchildren; five great grandchildren; a sister, Mary Ann Black, Silverdale; and nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 11 AM from the Schlitzer Allen Pugh Funeral Home, Inc., Pottsville. The Rev. Randy Ott will officiate. Interment will be in the Schuylkill Memorial Park, Schuylkill Haven.
