Lauren Ashlee Maxey

RED LION- Lauren Ashlee Maxey, 19, of Windsor Twp., died Sunday, November 16, 2008 at the York Hospital due to injuries sustained in an automobile accident. She was the beloved daughter of Tammy L. (Holloway) and Lance A. Everhart and the late Douglas J. Maxey. A funeral tribute service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, November 20, 2008 at Life Tributes by Olewiler & Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 35 Gotham Pl., Red Lion with the Rev. Brandon Testerman officiating. A visitation will be on Wednesday, November 19, 2008 from 6 to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in Blymire's UCC Cemetery. Lauren was born in York on August 6, 1989. She was a 2007 graduate of Red Lion High School. Lauren was very creative and enjoyed art and photography. She was enrolled in the Art Institute of York. She played the electric guitar and liked to make jewelry. Although she danced with the Bedazzled Dance Studio when she was younger, she was a tomboy at heart and enjoyed riding four wheelers. Lauren was employed with the White Rose Bar and Grill in York as a waitress. Lauren is greatly missed and survived by not only by her parents, but a sister, Amber N. Snyder and her husband, Andrew of Dallastown; maternal grandmother, Darlene Behresen of Red Lion; paternal grandparents Alfred and Jean Maxey of Dover and Kenneth and Shirley Everhart of Wrightsville; one uncle, Todd Holloway and his wife Christy of Stewartstown; three aunts, Denise J. Snyder and her husband, Scott of Dover, Tamra L. Leuw and her husband, Derek of York, and Debra L. Haynes and her husband, Tim of Kansas; nine cousins, Olivia, Chynna, Cortney, Mariah, Amanda, Ryan, Sidney, Timothy, and Matt. Also surviving Lauren is her boyfriend, Adam Moore of New Bridgeville. Her father, Douglas Maxey and maternal grandfather, Earl Holloway precedes her in death. Memorial contributions may be made in honor of Lauren to the SPCA, 3159 Susquehanna Trail, N., York, PA 17402.
