Laurabelle G. Anderson

LEWISBERRY - Laurabelle G. (Shaffer) Anderson, 94, passed away Wednesday, January 17, 2018 at Claremont Nursing & Rehab Center in Carlisle. She was the wife of the late Francis F. Anderson. A celebration of life tribute service will be held at 2:00 PM Sunday, January 21, 2018 at Beaver Urich Funeral Home, Inc., 305 West Front Street, Lewisberry. A visitation will be held from 1-2:00 PM Sunday at the Funeral Home. Burial will be in Fishing Creek Salem UM Cemetery. Born February 5, 1923 in Queens Run, Clinton Co., a daughter of the late Irvin and Dora (Beck) Shaffer, she had been active at the Dillsburg Senior Center and enjoyed taking day trips with her late husband and friends. She had attended Christian Life Assembly. Mrs. Anderson is survived by a stepson, Vernon and wife Faye Anderson of Dillsburg; a stepdaughter, Cheryl Hower of Lisburn; six step grandchildren; 12 step great grandchildren; a brother, Paul Shaffer of Lock Haven; a niece, Nancy and husband Roland Walls of Hummelstown; a great niece, Kimberly Balthaser of New Buffalo, Perry Co.; and two great nephews, Rick Wonders of Dover and Brian Wonders of York Springs.
