Larry Laverne Eighmey

TROY - Larry LaVerne Eighmey, 64 of Columbia Cross Roads, PA passed away on Thursday September 2, 2010 at home with his family at his side. Born September 21, 1945 in Troy he was the son of LaVerne Eighmey and the late Martha (Wheeler) Eighmey. Larry was employed at Eighmey Buick for several years and most recently, Northern Tier Career Center as a Diesel Mechanics Instructor. Larry liked spending time in his wood workshop, working on cars, gardening and spending time with his family. He enjoyed driving his Corvette and was an active member in the Glen Regional Corvette Club. Surviving are his wife Deborah (Beach) Eighmey, four daughters and sons-in-law, Shelly (Craig) Bates of Royalston, MA, Angela (Aaron) Alfano of Wilmington, DE, Kerri (Jim) Pryor of Montoursville, PA, Kendra (Brian) Merrill of Bellefonte, PA eight grandchildren, Dylan, Devin and Derek Bates, Chase Alfano, Mason and Rylee Pryor and Cody and Gavin Merrill, his father LaVerne Eighmey, sister Rosi Morgan, three brothers, Hal, Steve and Ron Eighmey, several sisters-In-law and brothers-in-law and numerous nieces and nephews. Larry was predeceased by his mother Martha (Wheeler) Eighmey. Family and friends are invited to a memorial service that will be held 2:00 PM Wednesday, September 8, 2010 at the Gerald W. Vickery, Jr. Funeral Home, Inc. 110 West Main Street, Troy, PA with Mr. Robert Morse officiating.
