Larry K. Kroft

YORK- Larry K. Kroft, 72, died on Friday, May 29, 2015 at York Hospital. He was the ex-husband and close friend of Angelina R. (Altland) Kroft. A visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. on Wednesday, June 3, 2015 at Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Rd., York. Born on December 2, 1942 in Hanover, he was a son of the late Elmer and Maude Kroft. Larry worked construction most of his life. After retiring, he was a part time school bus driver for Durham School Services. Mr. Kroft served our country for three years in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. Larry was a lifetime member of the East Berlin VFW Post #8896. He enjoyed fishing with his sons and grandchildren and hosting NASCAR parties. Mr. Kroft is survived by two sons, Shawn Kroft and his wife, Joni of Thomasville and Craig Kroft and his wife, Kelly of Dover; three grandchildren, Cyle, Shawna and Cody; two brothers, Carl and Richard; and three sisters, Mary, Elsie and Ruth. He was preceded in death by five brothers, Lewis, Lester, Lloyd, Charlie and Harry; and one sister, Betty.
