NORTH CODORUS TOWNSHIP- Larry E. Predix, 56 of Spring Grove, formerly of Duncannon, died Thursday, November 19, 2009 at his residence. He was the husband of Bertha M. Kelley. A Celebration of Life Service will be 11 a.m. on Monday, November 23, 2009 at Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Rd. in York, with a viewing from 10-11 a.m. Chaplain John Morrill of Ascera Care Hospice will be officiating at the service. Burial will be in Susquehanna Memorial Gardens. Mr. Predix was born in Mechanicsburg on November 2, 1953, a son of the late Raymond and Minerva (Pines) Predix. He worked as a Welder for Leonhardt's Manufacturing in Hanover. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and spending time with his family. He was an avid Penn State, Eagles, and Phillies fan and loved collecting Civil War Memorabilia. Mr. Predix leaves three sons, Joseph Predix of Shermansdale, Bryan Predix of Mechanicsburg, and Jason Predix of Bedford; a daughter, Sarah Predix of Enola; a step daughter, Juianita Britcher of Newport; four grandchildren; 2 step grandchildren; a brother, Raymond Predix of Duncannon; a sister Kathleen Bolden of Marysville; and nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a brother, Kenneth Predix. Memorial contributions may be made to Multiple Sclerosis Society, 2040 Linglestown Rd., #104, Harrisburg, PA 17110.
