Larry E. Henry, Sr.

YORK-Larry E. Henry, Sr., 74, passed away Friday, December 17, 2021 at York Hospital. He was the husband of Susan D. (Fantom) Henry. The couple celebrated their 42nd wedding anniversary in June. Mr. Henry was born in Hanover on July 12, 1947, the son of the late William E. and Ferne E. (Rinehart) Henry. He retired from York International after 38 years of service. He was the owner and operator of Henry’s Lawn and Garden, Cub Cadet dealership in New Freedom. Mr. Henry leaves a son, Larry E. Henry, Jr. and his wife Elizabeth of York; two daughters, Bonnie Henry and her significant other, David Fair of Glen Rock and Tracy McKenzie and her husband Harry of Baltimore; five grandchildren, Anlara, Orlagh, and Calum McKenzie and Aaron and Zachary Fair; a brother, Wesley Henry and his wife Londa; and a sister, Paulette Crouse and her husband Roger. He was preceded in death by a son, baby boy Henry. Memorial contributions may be made to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, Central PA Chapter, 2040 Linglestown Rd. Suite 104, Harrisburg, PA 17110. A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
