Larry E. Gembe

Larry E. Gembe, 64, went to Heaven Friday, March 24, 2023 at York North Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.

Born May 23, 1958, he was a son of Shirley A. (Cassel) and the late James S. Gembe.

In his free time, Larry enjoyed watching television. He especially enjoyed watching sports. Larry loved listening and singing along to music at the church services. He also enjoyed games of Bingo with his friends at York North.

Mr. Gembe is survived by his mother, Shirley A. Gembe; as well as three siblings, Daniel Gembe, Nancy Walton and Mary Lehman. Larry was preceded in death by his father, James S. Gembe; paternal grandparents, Harry and Helen Gembe, as well as his maternal grandparents, John and Martha Cassel.

Services will be private at the family’s convenience. Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Rd. in York will be assisting the family with arrangements.
