Larry E. Flickinger

LEWISBERRY- Larry E. Flickinger, 56, passed away Tuesday, April 7, 2009 at Harrisburg Hospital. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 11:00AM Saturday, April 11, 2009 at Beaver- Urich Funeral Home, Inc. 305 W. Front St. in Lewisberry with the Rev. Sharon K. Miller officiating. Viewings will be held from 6-8:00PM Friday and 10-11 a.m on Saturday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Emanuel Cemetery in Lewisberry. Mr. Flickinger was born on July 27, 1952, the son of the late Robert S. and Grace E. (Cassel) Flickinger. For the past 10 years, he has worked for Sovereign Bank and had previously worked for PNC Bank for 26 years. He attended Lewisberry United Methodist church. He was an avid Philadelphia Phillies fan and enjoyed attending many games. He also enjoyed gardening, bird watching, and had a general love for the outdoors. He leaves a son, Bryan Flickinger and his wife Kimberly of Waynesboro; a daughter Shannon Borgen and her husband Mark of Destin, Florida; three grandchildren; and a companion, Patricia Hall of Lewisberry. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association.
