Lance L. Wolf

Dallastown—Lance L. Wolf, 75, passed away Saturday, January 14, 2017 at Hospice and Community Care—Mt. Joy. He was the husband of Pauline M. (Kreeger) Wolf. The couple celebrated 54 years of marriage on June 30th. A Celebration of Life Service will be 10AM, Thursday, January 19, 2017 at Life Tributes by Olewiler & Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 35 Gotham Place, Red Lion with his pastor, the Rev. Lawrence A. Cunnings officiating. A viewing will be held from 9-10AM, Thursday at the funeral home. Burial will be held in Mt. Rose Cemetery. Born April 2, 1941 in Spry, he was the son of the late George D. and Helen J. (Geesey) Wolf. He was employed as a technician with GTE for 35 years until his retirement in 1995. In addition he also worked as a projectionist for various theaters in York County, including the Strand Capitol and most recently he was employed as a security guard with Schaad Detective Agency. An avid spelunker, he was a member of the York Grotto Assoc., and helped restore trains with the Maw & Paw Railroad Society—Muddy Creed Forks. He was also a member of Christ Lutheran Church in Dallastown. In addition to his wife, Mr. Wolf is survived by four children, Roland S. Wolf and wife, Becky of Chambersburg, Roxann C. Hoff and husband, Barry of Brogue, Rhonda M. Rodriguez and husband, Santos and Brandi L. Gotwalt and husband, Steve of York; 7 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
