Lana M. Stiffler

RED LION—Lana M. (Frey) Stiffler, 67, passed away Saturday, February 19, 2022 at York Hospital. She was the wife of Ronald L. Stiffler to whom she was married for 50 years. A Celebration of Life Service will be 10AM, Wednesday March 2, 2022 at Olewiler & Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 35 Gotham Place, Red Lion. Officiating the service will be, the Rev. Dr. Daniel R. Moore of Guinston Presbyterian Church—Airville. Viewings will be held from 6-8PM, Tuesday and from 9-10AM, Wednesday at the funeral home. Burial will be held in Susquehanna Memorial Gardens. Born May 25, 1954 in Dallastown, she was a daughter of the late Gerald C. and Hazel M. (Spurley) Frey. Her career began as an apprentice for Red Lion Upholstery. Throughout her 15-year career there, she decided to go into business for herself and started New Bridgeville Upholstery, where she worked until retirement. An avid gardener, she also enjoyed canning the vegetables she grew. She was a great cook and baker, liked spending free time sewing and making crafts. Above all else, she loved spending time with her family. In addition to her husband, Mrs. Stiffler is also survived by one son, Joshua W. Stiffler and wife, Jessica of Hellem; one daughter, Jessica M. Lower of Glen Bernie, MD; six grandchildren, Austin, Kaitlynn, Nathan, Mauriana, Lauren and Meghan; two brothers, Amos Frey and Lind Frey; one sister, Sylvia Marshall and nieces and nephews.
