Lamont Washington

YORK – Lamont Washington, 76, passed away Tuesday, September 27, 2022 at his home. He was the husband of Lugenia P. (Smallwood) Washington to whom he was married for more than 30 years.

In addition to his wife, Mr. Washington is survived by three sons, Joseph Smallwood of Hagerstown, MD, Alonzo Mitchell of York, and Aaron “Ace” Mitchell of York; three daughters, Frenchee Mitchell of Baltimore, MD, Gigi Mitchell of Ecuador, and Toni Gray of Baltimore; seven grandchildren, Antron, Omarion, Donovan, Adrian, Aaron, Jett, and Olivia; three great grandchildren, London, Levi, and Assonee; and a godson, Angel Romero of York. He was preceded in death by a son, Jerelle Dortch.
