Ladawn R. (Fix) Anderson

RED LION- LaDawn R. (Fix) Anderson, 75, passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by her family on Saturday, August 5, 2017. She was the loving wife of Donald L. Anderson to whom she was married for 55 years. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, August 10, 2017 at Grace Lutheran Church, 220 N. Charles St., Red Lion. Viewings will be from 6-8 p.m. on Wednesday at Life Tributes by Olewiler & Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 35 Gotham Pl., Red Lion and from 10-11 a.m. Thursday at church. Burial will be in Susquehanna Memorial Gardens. Born on January 19, 1942 in Red Lion, she was a daughter of the late Woodrow A. and Jennie P. (Neiman) Fix. She graduated from Red Lion High School in 1959 and attended Thompson's Business School. LaDawn was National Baton Twirling Champion in the 1950’s and went on to be a baton teacher at her School of Baton for 30 years. She was also a homemaker. Mrs. Anderson was a lifelong member of Grace Lutheran Church in Red Lion. LaDawn was a loving and caring woman who always put others first. She was extremely passionate about her family & friends and loved every moment spent with them. She also enjoyed trips to the beach. Along with her husband, Donald, LaDawn is survived by two daughters, Kelly Anderson of Bel Air, MD and Kristi Rexroth of Red Lion; one grandson, Dylan Rexroth; one sister, Sandra F. Stauffer of Red Lion; one nephew, Dr. Jud F. Stauffer and wife, Kelly of Red Lion; two great nieces, Maggie Holroyd and husband Thomas of Philadelphia and Sara Stauffer of Red Lion; brother in law and sister in law, Barry and Ann Anderson of York; and several cousins. She was preceded in death by her brother in law, Joe L. Stauffer.
