Kurvin H. Grove

RED LION - Kurvin H. Grove, 87, passed away on Thursday, December 13, 2024 at York Hospital. He was the loving husband of Margaret (Bortner) Grove.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held 1:00 PM on Friday, December 27, 2024 at Olewiler and Heffner Funeral Chapel and Crematory, Inc. 35 Gotham Place, Red Lion with Reverend Steven Schmuck officiating. Burial will follow at Red Lion Zion Cemetery. A viewing will be held from 12:00 PM - 1:00 PM on Friday, prior to the service.

Born August 12, 1937 in Red Lion, Kurvin was a son of the late Willis H. and Mary A. (Shenberger) Grove. After graduating from Red Lion High School in 1956, Kurvin worked as a brick layer, and later was self-employed at a real estate investor, managing several properties. Kurvin was a member of Red Lion Bible Church, and previously attended the York Gospel Center. Mr. Grove was also a member of The Gideons. In his free time, Kurvin enjoyed hunting.

Kurvin leaves behind a son, David B. Grove; a daughter, Kathy L. Phillips and her husband Gabriel; and a sister, Marie Snyder. Kurvin is preceded in death by his first wife, Brenda A. (Klinefelter) Grove, and a son, Daniel J. Grove.
