Kurt W. Weber

YORK TOWNSHIP- Kurt W. Weber died with grace and dignity Thursday morning April 9, 2009 at Rest Haven Rehabilitation and Nursing Center with the love and support of his family. He was the husband of the late Georgiana S. Weber who preceded him in death one year earlier. Mr. Weber was born in Berlin, Germany on February 27, 1919 to the late Max and Martha (Schwartzbald) Weber. Kurt was a graduate of Jamaica High School in Jamaica, NY and held an Engineering Degree from Columbia University in New York City. Mr. Weber served as a Corporal in The US Army Air Corps. during WWII, working with the Army Intelligence Unit. Kurt began his career working for The Dental Supply Company of New York and returned to the organization upon his discharge from the Army. He moved to York to work for Dentsply after its merger with The Dental Supply Company of New York. He was the Director of Photography for Densply, until his retirement in 1984. He continued with Densply as an Independent Contractor for years after his retirement, allowing him to continue the pursuit of his passion; photography. Kurt is survived by his loving son, Kurt R. Weber and his wife, Sue Weber of York; and two granddaughters, Lauran and Elizabeth Weber. After cremation, Kurt's ashes will be interred along with those of his mother in a private family ceremony. Kurt was a decent, honest, hard working man whose single focus in life was the well being and protection of his family. In his final days, Kurt found peace and comfort in his anticipated reunion with Georgiana, who was the love of his life. Memorial contributions may be made to Margaret E.
