Kirk Stephen Holtzinger

PITTSBURGH- Kirk Stephen Holtzinger, 67 of Pleasant Hills passed away on September 8, 2023 at his residence. He was the husband of the late René Ann (Buckley) Holtzinger.

A memorial service will be held at 4 p.m. on October 15, 2023 at Olewiler & Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., in Red Lion, with a visitation from 3-4 p.m. Pastor Larry Parlett will be officiating at the service. Burial will be private in Susquehanna Memorial Gardens in York.

Mr. Holtzinger was born in York on July 26, 1956, the son of Iris “Ike” (Daugherty) Holtzinger of York and the late Ronald L. Holtzinger. He had previously worked in retail management.

Kirk was a 1974 graduate of Red Lion High School. He received his Bachelor’s degree from Point Park University. He was a worship leader/friend of God with multiple worship teams including: Pleasant Hills Community Presbyterian Church, Homestead Park United Methodist Church, and Lebanon Presbyterian Church. He was an avid Steelers Fan.

Along with his mother, Mr. Holtzinger is survived by a daughter, Jade Nicole Mills and her husband Michael of Peters Township, PA; a step son, Jason Daniel Burnett of Colorado Springs, CO, two grandchildren Conner Michael Mills and Lennon René Mills; two step grandchildren Dylan Kade Burnett and Cadrick James Burnett, two sisters, Tanya Smith and her husband Tab of Lake St. Louis, MO, Collee Ann Wentz and her husband Nelson of Red Lion, PA, and numerous nieces and nephews.
