Kimberly Ann Mehring-Walker

YORK—Kimberly Ann Mehring-Walker, 65, passed away Tuesday, March 7, 2023 at her residence in Manchester Township. She was the wife of David A. Walker to whom she was married for 34 years.

A Celebration of Life Graveside Service will be 1:30PM, Saturday March 11, 2023 at Mt. Carmel Cemetery in Littlestown. Those attending Saturday’s tribute may access the cemetery by entering from either the Boyer Street or Cemetery Street entrance. Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Rd, York is in charge of arrangements.

Born December 20, 1957 in York, she was a daughter of the late Edward J. and Betty J. (Grove) Mehring.

She was employed as a beautician for many years, working at various salons throughout the York area. Following her cosmetology career, she worked at Harley Davidson as an assembler.

A member of Zion Lutheran Church—York, she loved crafting, sewing and knitting. She had great culinary skills especially for baking cakes and pastries, was a talented basket weaver and also taught basket weaving classes.

In addition to her husband, Mrs. Mehring-Walker is survived by two daughters, Casey L. Walker and her significant other, Kyle E. Moore of York, Lacey L. Horner and her husband, Chase of York; three grandchildren, R.J., Kylie, and C.J.; one brother, Craig Mehring of York, her beloved animals and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Bruce and Ronald Mehring.
