Windsor — Kim Dallas Bacon, 56, died Wednesday, June 25, 2014 at York Hospital. He was the companion of Sandra M. Blevins. A Celebration of Life Service will be 11 AM, Monday, June 30, 2014 at Bethel United Methodist Church, 1674 Furnace Rd, Brogue with his pastor, the Rev. Joshua T. Beben officiating. Viewings will be held from 6-8 PM, Sunday, at Life Tributes by Olewiler & Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 35 Gotham Place, Red Lion and from 10-11 AM, Monday, at the church. Burial will be held in Bethel United Methodist Cemetery. Born May 31, 1958 in York, he was a son of Shirley A. (Hoffmaster) Bacon and the late Dallas D. Bacon. He was employed with York Saw as a machinist for past 38 years. A passionate outdoors man, he enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was also a member of Collinsville Fish & Game, Bear’s Den Camp in Blair County and Bethel United Methodist Church. Kim is also survived by a sister, Tina M. Metz and her husband, Mark of Red Lion and several aunts, uncle and cousins. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Bethel United Methodist Church, 1674 Furnace Rd, Brogue, PA 17309 or York Cancer Patient Help Fund, 25 Monument Rd, Suite 194, York, PA 17402.
