Kevin "Sobo" Mccarrey

RED LION - Kevin “SoBo” McCarrey, 48, of Windsor Township passed away Tuesday, January 12, 2016 at his residence. He was the husband of Donna L. (Demmitt) McCarrey. The couple celebrated their first anniversary on September 6, 2015. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday January 21, 2016 at Life Tributes by Olewiler & Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 35 Gotham Place in Red Lion, with a viewing from 4:30-6:30 p.m. Pastor Donna L. Hildebrand will be officiating at the service. Full Military Honors will be provided by York County Veterans Honor Guard. Kevin was born in Champaign, IL on April 11, 1967, the son of Kenneth E. McCarrey of Fayetteville, GA and the late Linda M. (Ullman) McCarrey. He worked as a truck driver for UNFI in York. Kevin was a member of Chapel United Methodist Church in Red Lion and was a 1985 graduate of Fayette County High School in Georgia. He was a business manager for Beholders MC in Hanover. He enjoyed charity work for disabled Veterans and children, along with poker tournaments, golfing, and karaoke. He served in the US Army. Kevin leaves a step daughter, NaToshia Spear of University of Tennessee, who he loved as his own daughter, a brother Todd McCarrey of York and his brothers and sisters of Beholders MC.
