Kerry L. (Yeaple) Burkins

WRIGHTSVILLE- Kerry L. (Yeaple) Burkins, 58, passed away on Friday, June 10, 2011 at her residence. She was the wife of Clyde L. Burkins, Jr. The couple wed on July 23, 1988 A viewing for Mrs. Burkins will be 1-3 p.m. on Tuesday, June 14, 2011 at Life Tributes by Olewiler & Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 35 Gotham Pl., Red Lion. A time of gathering will be held immediately after the viewing at Kerry’s sister-in-law, Missy’s residence. Mrs. Burkins was born on February 9, 1953 in York, a daughter of the late Lucille Bair. Kerry was raised in Oregon and later moved back to Pennsylvania. She worked as an operator for Knoebels Amusement Park. Mrs. Burkins enjoyed crocheting, playing cards and had a great joy for unicorns. She loved spending time with her future daughter-in-law, Crystal Bossinger and most importantly spending time with her husband. Kerry will be missed by all. Along with her husband, Clyde, Mrs. Burkins is survived by three stepsons, Zach Burkins, Jason Burkins, and Allen Burkins; one step daughter, Tiffany Smeal; five grandchildren; two sister-in-laws, Bonnie Jones and Missy Hueter; a mother in law, Ethel Riley; and numerous nieces and nephews.
