Kerry L. (Miller) Colvin

Fawn Grove—Kerry L. (Miller) Colvin, 59, died Wednesday, August 3, 2016 at Hospice & Community Care of Mt. Joy. She was the wife of Dean C. Colvin with whom she celebrated 37 years of marriage. A Celebration of Life Service will be 11 AM, Tuesday, August 9, 2016 at Slateville Presbyterian Church, 308 Slateville Rd, Delta. Officiating the service will be her pastor, the Rev. Ken Osborne and Rev. James Schuler. Visitations will be held from 6-8 PM, Monday at Life Tributes by Olewiler & Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 35 Gotham Place, Red Lion and from 10-11 AM, Tuesday at the church. Burial will be held in Slateville Presbyterian Church Cemetery. Born December 30, 1956 in York, she was a daughter of Hilda I. (Schnetzka) Miller (Eugene)of Stewartstown and the late Lowell B. Miller. She was employed as a Respiratory Therapist for 35 years with York Hospital, Memorial Hospital, GBMC and Pleasant Acres. A member of Slateville Presbyterian Church, she also loved watching sports and was especially passionate when her children were playing, traveling the country to watch them. She was an avid reader, enjoyed playing tennis and volleyball, boating at the beach and trying the local foods of the numerous places she traveled with her husband. More than anything, she loved her family and spending time with them. In addition to her husband, Mrs. Colvin is also survived by two daughters, Emily E. Kuehne and her husband, Brent of Red Lion and Jaime I. Colvin of Dover, NH; one son, Craig R. Colvin of Fawn Grove; two grandchildren, Alexandra H. and Madelyn I. Kuehne; two sisters, LuAnn Julius and her husband, Robert of York and Lori McCleary and her husband, Keith of Fawn Grove; step brother, David Miller and his wife, Dawn; step sister, Lisa Nalls and her husband, James of New Freedom and several nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.
