Kerry Jo (Diehl) Harris

RED LION- Kerry Jo (Diehl) Harris, 44, passed on Saturday, October 30, 2021 at her residence. She was the wife of Allen W. Harris to whom she was married for 24 years. The family viewing will be held and arranged at Olewiler & Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc, 35 Gotham Pl., Red Lion. A memorial service for Kerry will be held at a later date to celebrate her life with all family and friends. Location and dates to be determined. Born on January 7, 1977 in York, she was the daughter of Joseph Diehl, the late Susan Smeltzer and stepmother Patricia Diehl. Kerry was a wonderful mother and homemaker. Mrs. Harris attended Red Lion Bible Church. She loved to help people and volunteer at Community Life network and various homeless shelters across Lancaster County. Kerry had a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology and majored in criminal psychology. She had a passion for gardening, nature, music, and most importantly, spending time with her family. Along with her husband, Allen, Kerry is survived by two sons, Troy Erdman of Glen Rock and Yuri Harris of Pasadena, MD; two daughters, Haley Harris of Red Lion and Shyanne Harris of Red Lion; four grandchildren, Skylar Erdman, Lothia Traecy, Kora Erdman and Kinzo Erdman; and two sisters, Wendy Torres of Orlando, FL and Danielle Kreeger of Philadelphia.
