Kenneth Paul Watts

CENTERVILLE- Kenneth Paul Watts, 75, of Centerville, PA, passed away on Monday, December 17, 2007 in the Arnot Ogden Medical Center in Elmira, NY. He is the husband of Beverly Ann (Erie) Watts. The couple married on November 27, 1970 and had 37 happy years together. Family and friends are welcome to call from 4:00-5:00 PM on Friday, December 21, 2007 at the Gerald W. Vickery, Jr. Funeral Home, Inc. 110 West Main Street, Troy, PA. The funeral service to honor Ken's life will be held at 5:00 PM on Friday, December 21st at the funeral home with Rev. Robert Wuentrich, pastor of the Bentley Creek Wesleyan Church, officiating. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. Ken was born on July 5, 1932 in Elmira, NY. He was the son of the late Richard and Blanche (Cahill) Watts. Ken worked in sales for Bern Furniture, Stromans Bakery, and Radio Shack. Ken's real passion was music; he played steel and electric guitars in county music bands around the Bradford County, PA/ Elmira, NY areas. In later years he loved playing and performing in local senior centers and retirement homes. He also liked fishing and woodworking. Ken is survived by his wife Beverly of Centerville, his children: Richard and Bambi Watts of Elmira Heights, NY, Jerry and Joann Watts of Elmira, NY, Kenneth and Barb Mannion of Lowman, NY, Don Ennis of Horse Heads, NY, Ken and Venus Watts of Bentley Creek, PA, Kevin and Julie Watts of Roseville, PA, Debbie and Neil Galpin of Florida, Darlene and Gerald Jayne of Bentley Creek, PA, Kimberly and William Chapin of Choctaw, OK, Keisha and Brian Lent of Bentley Creek, PA, several grandchildren and great grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and best friend Bernie Hakes. His parents, two brothers, and grandson, Dylan Patrick Chapin, predecease Ken. Contributions may be made in Ken's memory to his wife Beverly Watts 1920 Centerville Road, Gillett, PA 16925 to help bear the burden of Ken's funeral costs.
