Kenneth M. Tyson

YORK – Kenneth M. Tyson, 95, passed away Thursday, December 31, 2020 at his home. He was the husband of the late Marian M. (Patterson) Tyson. A viewing will be held from 10-12:00 Noon on Wednesday, January 6, 2021 at Olewiler & Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 35 Gotham Place, Red Lion. All PA Dept. of Health COVID-19 guidelines will be followed with masks required. Private burial will be in Freysville Cemetery. Born August 3, 1925 in Windsor, a son of the late Curvin and Anna Tyson; he had retired from the former Flinchbaugh Products. Mr. Tyson was a member of Red Lion American Legion and enjoyed watching and attending NASCAR races. Ken liked nothing more than spending time around his home tending to his garden, cooking and being with his family. He was a US Army Veteran of WWII. Mr. Tyson is survived by a daughter, Cheryl L. and husband Duane Hull, Sr. of Dover; a son, Tim A. and wife Monica Tyson of York; six grandchildren, Trey, Riley, Marla, Alexis, Duane Jr., and Diana. He was preceded in death by a brother, Carl Tyson.
