Kenneth L. Rexroth

Windsor--Kenneth L. Rexroth, 80, passed away Friday, December 22, 2023 at Inners Creek Nursing & Rehabilitation – Dallastown.


Born March 29, 1943 in Windsor Township, he was a son of the late Charles C. and Sarah E. (Smith) Rexroth.


Mr. Rexroth was the founder and senior partner of Rexroth Farms. He started farming in 1961 and formed Rexroth Farms partnership with his son Jim in 1993. He later managed landscaping tasks and some of the livestock operations.


Ken enjoyed attending bluegrass festivals and collecting and restoring antique tractors. He loved to socialize with friends and family and delighted in spending time with his grandchildren.


A member of Windsor Church of God, he was also a member of both the Pennsylvania and York County Farm Bureaus, Craley Fire Department, Steam-O-Rama, the National Farm Organization, Seven Mountains Bluegrass Association and a 1961 graduate of Eastern York High School.


Mr. Rexroth is survived by two sons, James C. Rexroth and wife, D’Neill of Windsor and Jeremy J. Rexroth of Windsor; his significant other, Susan C. McKinsey of Windsor; six grandchildren, Nicholas, Alexus, Liberty, Kane, Aeon and Grant; two sisters, Rosella Hess and Sally Rexroth and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his son, Jesse Rexroth; seven brothers and two sisters.


A Celebration of Life Tribute will be held from 12:00PM – 3:00PM, Sunday, January 21, 2024 at Great American Saloon, 20 Dairyland Square, Red Lion, Pa 17356. Olewiler & Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 35 Gotham Place, Red Lion is in charge of arrangements. Mr. Rexroth’s family will hold a private family burial at their convenience in Windsor Church of God Cemetery.


In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Red Lion Christian School, 105 Springvale Rd, Red Lion, Pa 17356 or Craley Fire Department, 73 New Bridgeville Rd, Wrightsville, Pa 17368 or Seven Mountains Bluegrass Association.
