Kenneth 'Kenny' S. Fleming

Kenneth “Kenny” S. Fleming, 71, of Lewisburg, passed away Thursday, October 20, 2011, at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville. Born October 5, 1940, he was a son of the late Allen S. and Belva E. (Ocker) Fleming. After graduating high school, Kenny attended college in Bloomsburg and served during the Korean War in the Army Reserves. Kenny worked as a project manager for Eastern Industries for over 40 years, retiring in 2006. He belonged to the American Legion Post 182, Lewisburg, the Milton VFW, Post 1665, the Milton Eagles, Moose Lodge 171 and Elks, the Americus Hose Company, Sunbury, the NRA, Masonic Lodge 0224, Danville, and La Societe Des 40 Hommes et & Chevauk club. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by an infant daughter, Tamara Louise Fleming and sister, Shelva Bieber. Kenny is survived by sister, Nancy Baylor, Sunbury, brother, Joseph A. Fleming and wife, Rose, NC, nieces and nephews, Patricia Betz and husband, Melvin, Turbotville, Jeff Bieber and wife, Carolyn, Turbotville, Sandra Mullay and husband, Gene, Swoyersville, Randy Bieber and wife, Sharon, NC, Pamela Showers and husband, Charlie, New Columbia, Billie Jo Zerbe and husband, George, Bloomsburg, Rick Baylor, Sunbury, Scott Baylor and wife, Janelle, Marietta, Jenny and Allyson Fleming, NC, and 8 great nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held Sunday from The Dale E. Ranck Funeral Service, 125 N. Front St., Milton. Family and friends may visit from 1 to 2 p.m. The service will be at 2 p.m. with Pastor George Zerbe officiating. A wake will also be held at the Lewisburg Legion, Post 182 at 4 p.m. on Sunday for family and friends. Interment will be at the family’s convenience
