Kenneth J. Schwinger

RED LION- Kenneth J. Schwinger, 77, died on Tuesday, March 8, 2022 at Dallastown Nursing Center. He was the husband of Judith A. (Mullen) Schwinger to whom he was married 52 years. A visitation will be held from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. on Tuesday, March 15, 2022 at Olewiler & Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 35 Gotham Pl., Red Lion. Born on March 23, 1944 in Philadelphia, he was a son of the late William and Marian (Corby) Schwinger. Kenneth was a construction manager for Verizon for 34 years until retiring in 1998 to Eastern Shore to his sail boat. Mr. Schwinger was a shipwright volunteer for the Schooner Sultana. He was an avid vintage Volkswagen enthusiast, an avid sailor and was always willing to give a helping to anyone in need. Along with his wife, Judith, Kenneth is survived by two sons, Christian Schwinger and his wife, Jennifer of Red Lion and Jonathan Schwinger and his wife, Teri of Centreville, MD; four grandchildren, Samantha Schwinger, Elizabeth Schwinger, William Schwinger and Anna Schwinger; and brother, Robert Schwinger and his wife, Karen of Concord, NH.
