Kenneth J. Baker

WILLIAMSPORT - Kenneth J. "Kenny" Baker, 53, died on Thursday, February 11, 2010 at the Williamsport Hospital. Kenny was married to the former Ellen M. (Lovell) in 1977, and who survives. Kenny was born on September 5, 1956 in Williamsport and was the son of the late George W. and Marie P. (Clarke) Baker. He was a graduate from Williamsport High School, class of 1975. Kenny was a veteran of the US Navy for 4 years and the US Army for 3 years. He was a former employee of Lycoming County Prison for 12 years and was also a member of the Annunciation Catholic Church. In addition to his wife, he is survived by one son; Bryan P. Baker of Williamsport, one daughter and son-in-law; Cassie L. and Edgar Garcia, three grandchildren; Alex J. Baker, Nevaeh M. Garcia and Fiona G. Menc, and five sisters and three brothers-in-law; Gloria P. and Ralph Gordon of Northumberland, Jane Wool and Mary A. Baker of Williamsport, Georgine W. and Gary Kratzer of Milton and Pat M. and Skip Shaffer of Montoursville. There will be a public viewing from 6 to 7 p.m. Saturday, February 13, 2010 at the Allen & Redmond Funeral Home, 331 Elmira St., Williamsport, PA 17701 with the funeral service beginning at 7:00 p.m. The Reverend John K. Manno will officiate the services. Burial will be held later at the convenience of the family.
