Kenneth Lee Heinick, 64, of Red Lion and Dover, passed away peacefully in his sleep surrounded by family on January 31, 2025. He was the son of the late George L. and Nancy A. (Lehr) Heinick. Born and raised in Allentown.
He was a distinguished graduate of Louis E. Dieruff High School in 1978 and Lehigh University in 1982. Prior to retirement, he was a highly respected process control and application engineer for Trola Industries for many years.
Ken was a very talented cornet player in his younger years and remained a music lover throughout his life. He was also an animal lover, notably caring for his horse Max for a long time. He was also an avid motor racing fan.
Ken is survived by his longtime companion, Rebecca Bloodsworth; brothers Richard (Angela) of Mechanicsburg, David (Carol) of Chester Springs, Michael (Helena) of Towamensing Township, and Thomas (Marcia) of Towamensing Township; and numerous nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
A Celebration Life Service will be held at a later date. Olewiler & Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 35 Gotham Place, Red Lion is in charge of arrangements.
