WINDSOR TOWNSHIP- Kenneth H. Ruby, 65, of York died Thursday, May 20, 2010 at his residence. He was the husband of Pat N. (Miller) Ruby. The couple would have celebrated their 46th Wedding Anniversary on June 6, 2010. Mr. Ruby was born in Lower Windsor Township on September 4, 1944, a son of the late George A. and Rachel N. (Crumbling) Ruby. He retired from Master Tool and Mold, Inc. in York and York Imperial Plastics in Loganville. Mr. Ruby was a 1962 Graduate of Red Lion High School. He was a member of Kreutz Creek V.F.W, Hawk's Gunning Club, Vigilant Social Club, Wrightsville Social Club, Foresters of America in Columbia, and Columbia Fraternal and Friendship Association. He was an avid participant with his street rod, in which he received many awards and was a member of NSRA Street Rod and Independence Street Rod Club. Mr. Ruby leaves two daughters, Sherry Armstrong and her husband Dale of York, and Annette Ludwig and her husband Michael of Red Lion; and five grandchildren, Ivy Sheffer, T.J. Ellis, Matthew, Nicholas, and Conner Ludwig. A Celebration of Life Gathering will be held from 1-4 p.m. on Saturday, May 29, 2010 at Kreutz Creek V.F.W.; 341 Yorkanna Rd. in Hellam. Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Road in York is in charge of the arrangements. Following cremation burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Leukemia/Lymphoma Society, 800 Corporate Circle, Suite 100, Harrisburg, PA 17110.
