Kenneth G. Heibeck

York—Kenneth G. Heibeck, 71, died Sunday, March 2, 2014 at his residence in York Township. A Celebration of Life Service will be 10AM Saturday, March 8, 2014 at Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Rd, York with his pastor, the Rev. Michael G. Trimmer officiating. A visitation will be held from 9-10AM, Saturday, at the funeral home. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. Born January 14, 1943 in Cross Roads, he was a son of the late Clair C. and Dorothy M. (Miller) Heibeck. He was employed in finance with the United States Army Corps of Engineers for 37 years until his retirement in 1998. A member of Prospect United Methodist Church, he was also a sports fans, especially the Philadelphia Phillies and an avid baseball card collector. Mr. Heibeck is survived by two brothers, Lonny H. Heibeck and his wife, Anita of Lancaster and Jay B. Heibeck and his wife, Ann of York; two nieces, Tracy and Jessica and one nephew, Tyler.
