Kenneth E. Nelson

ETTERS – Kenneth E. Nelson, 76, passed away Sunday, April 28, 2013 at York Hospital. Funeral services and burial will be private in Paddletown Cemetery. Beaver Urich Funeral Home, Inc., 305 West Front Street, Lewisberry is in charge of arrangements. Born June 12, 1936 in Newberrytown, a son of the late Martin L. and Mildred A. (Thumma) Nelson, he was a 1954 graduate of New Cumberland High School. Mr. Nelson retired from Iron Workers Union, Local 404. He was a member of Etters VFW, Goldsboro Fireman’s Club, and enjoyed turkey and deer hunting. Mr. Nelson is survived by a daughter, Susan A. and husband Randy Kinsey of Mechanicsburg; a son, Steven E. and wife Shelby Nelson of W. Hanover Twp.; three grandchildren, Kyler, Heather, and Nathan; two great grandchildren, Hannah and Kailyn; and a brother, Harold R. Nelson of Camp Hill. He was preceded in death by a sister, Helen L. Schroll. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to American Cancer Society, 924-N Colonial Ave., York, PA 17403.
