YORK- Kenneth C. Smith, 76, of Conewago Township, passed away on Tuesday, September 6, 2016 at Manor Care Health Services- Kingston Court in York. He was the husband of Patt L. (Stubbs) Smith. The couple celebrated their 27th wedding anniversary on October 8, 2015. A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, September 10, 2016 at Friendship Community Church, 3380 Fox Run Rd. in Dover, with a visitation from 10-11 a.m. The Reverend John Harman will be officiating at the service. Burial will be private in Susquehanna Memorial Gardens in York. Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Rd. in York is assisting the family with the arrangements. Mr. Smith was born in York on August 30, 1940, the son of Paul and Romaine Smith. He retired in 2014 after 50 years of service as a warehouse manager at Colony Papers, Inc. in York. Mr. Smith attended Friendship Community Church in Dover. He was a life-time member of Victory Athletic Club, Viking Club, and the Vigilant Club. He was also a diehard Philadelphia Eagles Fan. Mr. Smith leave two daughters, Kimber Sutton of Dover, Cyndi Black and her husband Richard of York; a son, Brian Smith of Oklahoma; six grandchildren, Stevee Cervates and her husband Juan of Camp Lejeune, NC, Brandy Sutton and her husband Angel of Ft. Bragg, NC, Erica Sutton and her companion Brock of Dover, Tiffany Chapman and her husband Jordan of Dover, Jennifer Moran and her husband Shane of York, and Mark E. Wisner, Jr. and his wife Natiana of Georgia. Memorial contributions may be made to National Parkinson’s Foundation, in honor of the Parkinson’s Class at HealthSouth, 200 SE 1st Street, Suite 800, Miami, FL 33131.
