Kay Blanche (Greenough) Leblanc

SAYRE, PA- Kay Blanche (Greenough) LeBlanc, 66, of East Troy, PA, went to be with her Lord on Thursday, June 18, 2009 at the Robert Packer Hospital in Sayre, PA. Family and friends are welcome to gather from 3:00-6:00 PM on Sunday, June 21, 2009 at the Gerald W. Vickery, Jr. Funeral Home, Inc. 110 West Main Street Troy, PA and again from 10:00-11:00 AM on Monday, June 22nd at the First Baptist Church of Troy, 160 Canton Street, Troy. The funeral service to honor Kay's life will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, June 22nd at the church with her pastor, Rev. Garry Zuber officiating. Burial will follow the service in Windfall Cemetery. Kay was born on October 4, 1942 in Troy, PA, the daughter of the late Lawrence and Annabel (Shoemaker) Greenough. She was a 1960 graduate of Troy High School, and received her Bachelors of Arts and Masters degrees from Mansfield University. Kay was the tenth grade English teacher at Troy High School until her retirement on February 7, 2003. She was a member of the East Troy Baptist Church and had a large circle of friends. Kay is survived by her son Jordan (Jennifer Kirker) Priest of Freeport, IL, her daughter Kelley (William) Murray of Troy, PA, her grandsons Jared and Kaden, her sisters Joyce Bixby of Mansfield, PA, and Audrey (Jake) Randall of Roaring Branch, PA, along with several nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends. Kay was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Larry LeBlanc, her sister Barb Foster, and her brother Hugh Greenough.
