Kathryn W. Hall

Montoursville - Kathryn W. (Walker) Hall, 87 of Sycamore Road passed away Wednesday, March 12, 2008 at Sycamore Manor Nursing Home where she was a patient since July. She was married to Boies P. Hall, Jr. on December 12, 1945 and they celebrated their 62nd wedding anniversary. Kathryn was born July 11, 1920 in Bethlehem to Harry & Clara Belle (Schnell) Walker. She retired in 1982 as a guidance counselor from Curtin Middle School. Kathryn was a member of Bethany Lutheran Church, Montoursville and played the organ at Redeemer Lutheran Church for several years. She was a member of the Williamsport and Lewisburg Garden Clubs and was a past master flower show judge. She was a graduate of Penn State University in 1942 and attended Bucknell University where she received a masters degree in education. Kathryn served in the Navy during WWII. Surviving are her husband and two sons Jon (Maryanna) Hall of Dillsburg and Boies (Judy) Hall of Reno, NV Two grandsons (Jon and Brian) Four great grandsons. Interment will be at Arlington National Cemetery in June and will be announced at a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of the Allen & Redmond Funeral Home, 331 Elmira Street.
