Kathryn N. 'Momma Kay' (Cuff) Craighead

WILLIAMSPORT - Kathryn N. “Momma Kay” (Cuff) Craighead, 76, died on Saturday, June 25, 2011 at the Williamsport Regional Medical Center. Kathryn was born on March 18, 1935 in Lewistown and was the daughter of the late Wallace W. and Bessie E. (Stewart) Cuff. She had graduated from Lewistown High School. On November 28, 1986, she married Howard J. Craighead from Harrisburg, and who survives. Kathryn drove bus for the Childrens Development Center for 25 years. She was a member of the Ebenezer Baptist Church, Williamsport as well as being a member of the church choir. She was a member of the Nancy Wiley Wilson Temple 1036 and at one time was Daughter Ruler. She was a bartender at the Elks and enjoyed collecting bees. In addition to her husband, she is survived by five sons; Theodore B. Wilson of Williamsport, Rodney A. Wilson of Williamsport, Robert A. Wilson of Colorado Springs, CO, Randy J. Wilson of Williamsport and Darryl E. Wilson of Williamsport, one daughter; Della Kathy Graham of Colorado Springs, CO, 27 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, two brothers; Wallace W. Cuff, Jr. of Lancaster and Rex A. Cuff of Mechanicsburg, three sisters; Della M. Williams, Peggy A. Peterson and Sandra L. Johnson, all of Williamsport, her beloved dog; Bluto, and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband; Theodore B. Wilson, Sr., three great grandchildren; Alneesh “Shug” Wilson, Kintah K. “Panther” Sweeting and Daerion Sweeting-Nabaa, two brothers; Earl S. and Jack H. Cuff and four sisters; Doris J. Cuff, Gertrude Thomas, Emma Chambers and Bessie Elizabeth Jones. "Love ya, love ya, love ya, and I'll leave the light on for ya." There will be a public viewing from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. (noon) Saturday, July 2, 2011 at the Ebenezer Baptist Church, 527 Park Ave., Williamsport with the funeral service being held at 12:00 p.m. The Reverend Charles V. Daniels will officiate the service. Burial will be held at a later date at the convenience of the family.
