Kathryn M. Kessinger

LOCK HAVEN Kathryn "Kay" M. (Huff) Kessinger, 87 died Friday, February 26, 2010 at Lock Haven Extended Care Unit. She was born June 12, 1922 in Lock Haven, a daughter of the late Robert H. and Margery Bodley Huff. She married Mark H. Kessinger on August 16, 1945 in Lock Haven. He preceded her in death in 1971. She worked for Francie's Beauty Shop, Montgomery Wards Credit Office and Cox Cable TV as a clerk. Kathryn was a member of Great Island Presbyterian Church. She was a 1940 graduate of Lock Haven High School and Williamsport State Beauty School. She was a charter member of the Elks Auxiliary, Lock Haven BPOE, a life member of the Clinton County SPCA and the Lock Haven Hospital Auxiliary. She is survived by a nephew, Robert M. (Terry) Dana of Albuquerque, NM and many other nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a sister Jean Huff Dana in 1984. Funeral services will be held 1:00 P.M., Monday, March 1, 2010 at the Helt Funeral Chapel, 232 Hogan Blvd., Mill Hall. Friends and relatives will be received at the funeral chapel one hour prior to the service. Memorial contributions can be made to the Clinton County S.P.C.A. Interment will be at Rest Haven Memorial Park.
