Kathryn M. Alfano POTTSVILLE-Kathryn M. (Boyer) Alfano 89, of Llwellyn, PA died Sunday at Manor Care, Pottsville. Mrs. Alfano was born October 6, 1919, the daughter of the late Roy and Jennie Ellinger Boyer. |She graduated from Branch Township High School. She continued her education and received her license as a beautician. She is preceded in death by her husband Leo Alfano, and a son Gary B. Alfano. Mrs. Alfano was a member of the Friedens Lutheran Church and the Ladies Auxiliary of the Good Intent Hose Company both of Llwellyn. Surviving is a daughter Beverly K., wife of Edward Felker, Alexandria VA; two sons Donald Boyer, husband of Rev. Linda Bonfiglio, Tower City, Wayne, husband of Sandra, Hostkiss, CO; seven grandchildren Christine Lafferty, Suffork, VA; Jeffery Felker, Annapolis, MD; Jessica Wendt, Tampa, FL; Allison Windmiller, Raeford, N.C.; Paul Boyer, Llwellyn; Eric Alfano, Settle, WA; Joseph Alfano, MS. Celebration of Life services will be conducted on Friday at 11:00 A.M. at Friedens Lutheran Church, Llwellyn, PA. There will be no viewing Thursday evening and no procession from the Schlitzer-Allen-Pugh Funeral Home, Inc. to the church. Family and friends may call at the church from 10:00 A.M. till 10:50 A.M.
