Kathryn E. Kohr

RED LION-Kathryn E. (Seiple) Kohr, 90, of Windsor Township, passed away on Tuesday, February 4, 2025 at her residence. She was the wife of the late Robert P. Kohr. 

Kathryn was born in Yorkana on August 24, 1934, the daughter of the late Charles E. and Helen (Smith) Seiple. She worked as a waitress for the former Warners Family Restaurant/Rutters in Red Lion. She enjoyed gardening, canning, and cooking, but having a close relationship with her family was most important to her.

Kathryn leaves two sons, Timothy C. Kohr and Matthew P. Kohr, both of Red Lion; four grandchildren, Clint Kohr, Jolene (Hugh) Lloyd, Renae Kohr, and Jesse (Alex) Kohr; three great grandchildren, Avery, Brinlee, and Maverick. She is also survived by a brother, Dean Seiple; three sisters, Barb Seiple, Rose Poff, and Donna “Dolly” Snider; as well as numerous nieces and nephews and countless extended family and friends. She was preceded in death by two sons, Robert M. Kohr and James P. Kohr; three brothers, Robert, Lester, and Kenneth; and five sisters, Freda, Lucille “Sis”, Delores “Toot”, Diane, and Betty.

A celebration of life service will be held on Monday, February 10, 2025 at Olewiler & Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, 35 Gotham Place in Red Lion. Viewings will be held from 2-4 p.m. on Sunday and noon – 1 p.m. on Monday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Susquehanna Memorial Gardens in York.
