Kathryn F. Folcomer

MT. WOLF- Kathryn F. (Eckenrode) Folcomer, 68, died Wednesday morning, September 17, 2008 at Manor Care - North Nursing & Rehabilitation Center. A Funeral Tribute Service will be held at 10:15 a.m. Friday, September 19, 2008 at Life Tributes by Olewiler & Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 35 Gotham Pl., Red Lion with the Rev. Wesley S. Mast of Heartland Hospice officiating. A viewing will be held from 9:15 to 10:15 a.m. Friday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Susquehanna Memorial Gardens. Kathryn was born in Frederick, MD on March 7, 1940, a daughter of the late Harry and Orley (Stevens) Eckenrode. She was a 1958 graduate of the former William Penn High school in York. Kathryn enjoyed crocheting, baking, her birds, and spending time with her grandsons. Surviving Kathryn are her daughter, Crystal Connelly, of Red Lion; two grandsons, Brandon Connelly and his girlfriend, Christina Green and Bradley Connelly all of Red Lion; a sister, Anna Swartz and her husband Lewis of Dover; and many nieces and nephews. Also surviving is a half sister, Susan Eckenrode of York and half brother, David Eckenrode of Dover. Preceding her in death are a sister, Bessie Toomey; and four brothers, Harry, Morris, John, and Roland Eckenrode.
