Kathryn E. Seyler

MILL HALL - Kathryn E. Seyler, age 85, passed away at Lock Haven Hospital on Monday, Nov. 16, 2009. She was born in Lock Haven on Nov. 5, 1924, daughter of the late Joseph and Stella McCloskey Moore. She was a graduate of Lock Haven High School and a member of Mill Hall United Methodist Church. Kathryn enjoyed her 3 cats and loved family time especially with her grandchildren. On Jan. 22, 1954, she married Richard G. Seyler who survives in Mill Hall. Also surviving is her son: Stephen Seyler of Mill Hall, daughters: Vikki (Harold) Yearick of Boalsburg, Sharon (Melvin) Culvey of McElhatten, and Barbara (Butch) Eanes of Erie, 14 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren, and her sister: Marie Schnering of Columbus, Ohio and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by two sisters and two brothers. Funeral services will be held at the Helt Funeral Chapel, 232 Hogan Blvd., Mill Hall at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 19, 2009 with Rev. Valerie M. Delooze officiating. Interment will follow in Rest Haven Memorial Park. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Memorials are requested to the Mill Hall United Methodist Church in her memory.
