Kathleen T. (Mcbride) Atlee

YORK- Kathleen T. (McBride) Atlee, 71, died on Friday, April 3, 2015 at her residence. She was the wife of the late Edward D. Atlee, Jr. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. on Thursday, April 9, 2015 at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church, 950 W. Market Street, York, with Father Daniel Mitzel officiating. A viewing will be from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Wednesday at Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Rd., York. A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday at Calvary Cemetery, 235 Matsonford Rd., Conshohocken, PA 19428. Born on November 17, 1943 in Philadelphia, she was a daughter of the late Anthony and Annie (McGee) McBride. Kathleen was a homemaker. Mrs. Atlee was a member of St Rose of Lima Catholic Church. Kathleen enjoyed gardening, participating with her book club and women’s club and was an award winning crafter of jointed teddy bears. Most importantly, she enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren. Mrs. Atlee is survived by two sons, Anthony H. Kelly and his wife, Collette Mehring of Chaddsford and Robert Kelly and his wife, Beth of York; one daughter, Kathleen Boyce and her husband, Joseph of Downington; one stepdaughter, Gwen Atlee of Chester Springs; seven grandchildren, Victoria Atlee, Sarah Kelly, Kathryn Kelly, Joseph Boyce, Morgan Boyce, Reagan Kelly and Luke Kelly; and her beloved dog, Brogan. She was preceded in death by her stepson, Christian Atlee; one brother, Anthony H. “Eddie” McBride, Jr.; and one sister, Maureen Bonner.
