Kathleen R. Ciccone

DALLASTOWN- Kathleen R. (Kane) Ciccone, 71, passed away Friday, July 6, 2018 as a result of injuries sustained in an automobile accident. She was the wife of the late David J. Ciccone. A celebration of life tribute service will be held at 12:00 Noon on Friday, July 13, 2018 at Zion Lutheran Church, 2215 Brandywine Lane, York with pastors, Rev. Dr. Janyce Jorgensen and Rev. Benjamin S. Erzkus officiating. A visitation and reception will follow the service at the Church. Private burial will be in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery, Hanover. Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Road, York is in charge of arrangements. Born October 3, 1946 in Boston, Mass; a daughter of the late Catherine (O’Malley) and Dennis F. Kane, Sr., she was a 1964 graduate of Dedham High School. Mrs. Ciccone retired in 2012 from Apple Hill Internal Medicine after 16 years as a Physician Office Assistant. More than anything, Kathleen loved spending time with her grandsons. She also was an avid reader, talented jewelry maker and was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Dallastown. Prior to living in Dallastown, Kathleen resided in Hanover for 20 years. Mrs. Ciccone is survived by three daughters, Kara C. and husband Jeremy Hetrick of Dover, Juli K. Ciccone of Lancaster and Lori P. Ciccone and partner Karl Hauser of Harrisburg; two grandsons, Kai and Luca Hetrick; a brother, Dennis Kane of New York; a sister, Patricia Eckert of New York; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by a brother, Frank Kane.
