Kathleen (Marks) Cadek

WELLSBURG- Kathleen (Marks) Cadek, 64, of West Burlington Township, PA, and formerly of Big Pond, PA passed away peacefully on Thursday, May 17, 2012 at the Robert Packer Hospital surrounded by her family. Kathleen was born on August 22, 1947 in Salamanca, NY daughter of the late Orville Marks and Kathryn (Garrett) Marks Robbins of Wellsburg, NY. She was a member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church in Ridgebury, PA. After moving to the Bradford County Manor, Kathleen was elected President of the Resident Council and was a volunteer of the year. Kathleen loved her family and enjoyed the time she could spend with them. Kathleen is survived by her mother and step father Kathryn and Keith Robbins, her daughters Melissa A. Bernas of Big Pond, PA, and Jennifer L. Mallory of Wellsburg, NY, her grandchildren Garrett M. Bernas and Katelyn M. Mallory, her brother Bradley (Sandy) Marks of Florida and her nephew Jason Marks of Horseheads, NY. Kathleen was preceded in death by her father Orville Marks. Family and friends are welcome to call from 6:00-7:00 pm on Tuesdsay, May 22, 2012 at the Roberts Funeral Home, Inc. 279 Main Street Wellsburg, NY. The memorial service to honor Kathleen’s life will be held at 7:00 pm Tuesday, May 22nd at the funeral home.
